I'd like to make my grand dau a little GS vest for her doll.
I've seen some for sale on ebay, but want to make my own for her....
Wondering where folks get the little bitty GS pins from?
I have a bunch of grin pins that will make cute bagdes and think I can figure out the numbers, but those little pins have me stumped!

Actually a number of years ago GS actually sold mini pins. Have a look in the GS uniform catalog at your local service center.

The AG girl scout vest actually came with screenprinted badges on it.
I don't know if they do it for any of the other pins, but when I got my Gold Award I also got a "parent pin" which was a minature version of the award... it was a good size for my AGs doll vest.
Good luck!

Thanks for the hint!!
I went to the GS web site and found the little mini pins there!!!
Was able to order the older version of the pin for Molly's dress and the newer version for grand daus vest.
Thought that I might need her GS membership info so I did have it available, but the web site doesn't ask for it andthey'll ship it right to our house!!
When I get it done I'll post photos.
I have a really old GS dress like I wore (close..but not exact) and I want to make an old style dress for Molly from that too.

Beth, could you post the address for where you found the pins? What a neat find! A while back I made my mom's My Twinn a Brownie ensemble ( www.angelfire.com/mi/FAST/molly.html ). We have never been able to find badges. Anyone know...what did the badges go on in the 50s? My mom can't remember!
Edited...
Oh, I found the pins you mentioned. There's no mini Brownie one, but they're still really cute!
If anyone wants to see them, visit:
